Sunday

Sunday (yesterday) was our first day of morning church.  We went from starting at 1:30 to 9am.  For a while we were thinking that we might not go to church.  Lila was up a lot that night, coughing and pretty miserable.  Jake and Mike gave her a blessing before he left.  But when the alarm went off, Lila woke up in a pretty good mood so we decided to go.  I was so exhausted and didn't really feel well all day.

Lila and Jake spent most of sacrament meeting in the foyer.  So I sat by myself.  Jake went to hospice during 2nd hour and so I had Lila during that time.  Primary was crazy and chaotic, mostly because Melissa Linkfield (1st counselor) and I had no idea what we were doing... it being the first Sunday of the year and classes changing.  I had no idea what was going on.  But we got through it fine.  Lila was so heavy.  I had to do a lot of walking around with her.  At the beginning of third hour, I nursed Lila in the mother's room and she fell asleep pretty quickly, which isn't something she usually does at church.  She must have been exhausted.  Jake got back and took her to EQ and she slept the whole time in his lap!

Jake talked to Cassandra's brother Jason for a little while.  Told him that Mike has a really fun time with him/their family this weekend.  Jason apologized for Savannah's behavior, lol.

After church, Jake had some clerk work, so Lila and I went home.  I was so tired.  Lila pooped 3 times in one hour, it was amazing.  She took a 40 minute nap.  And then woke up cranky.  So Jake and I laid down with her and then we all fell asleep for almost 3 hours.  It was a great nap!

Woke up.  Mike told us he texted Cassandra at around 5:45.  Cassandra can't use her cell phone to talk to America in Canada (but she can receive texts), so he was hoping that she would get it before she got to Canada.  He said something like, "Don't know if you've left yet, but hope you have a safe trip. Call me if you want to talk on the road."  So then we were talking with Mike on the phone and he gets a call from Cassandra!  So they talked for a half hour, until she got to the border.  It was a good talk, she thanked him for texting her, he got her email address, she explained how she calls people using gchat.  He asked when the next time she was coming home is, she said within the next 6 weeks hopefully, but it depends on her car... it has over 300,000 miles on it and she found an oil leak over the weekend.  He told her that he could come get her, and she said, "Yeah, it would take less time than it does to just get to your parents.'"

Lila went to bed at around 8, woke up for 45 minutes at around 4:00, but then slept till almost 10.  So that was awesome.  Jake and I were up late.  He was excited for his first day of work at Maestro.
